Dubai Islands Master Plan

The Dubai Islands master plan covers five interconnected islands along Dubai’s northern coastline, spanning approximately 17 square kilometres. Developed by Nakheel, the wider plan brings together residential communities, hotels, resorts, beaches, parks, marinas, retail areas and leisure destinations within a large waterfront district.

The development is divided across Island A, Island B, Island C, Island D and Island E. Each island has a different planned role, with varying combinations of beachfront residences, hospitality, cultural attractions, family recreation, wellness facilities, green spaces and mixed-use development.

Across the master plan, Dubai Islands is expected to include more than 20 kilometres of beaches, around two square kilometres of parks and green spaces, pedestrian and cycling routes, marinas, golf facilities and improved road and marine connections to mainland Dubai.

Island A: Mixed-Use Island Core

This vibrant island is designed as a high-energy, mixed-use core, bringing together commercial, retail, entertainment, and residential spaces.

Key features include:

• A large mall, serving as a central retail and entertainment hub.
• Waterfront commercial and marina areas, ideal for businesses and dining experiences along the waterfront.
• A high-end island living environment, with a focus on urban and residential communities.
• An art and cultural district to enhance community engagement through events and cultural attractions.
• Expected to contain 28,500 residential units and 37 hotels

Island B: Integrated Resorts & Communities

This island serves as the portal to the larger resort and community areas, featuring both beachfront and mid-density residential options.

Key highlights are:

• A mix of beach resorts, low-density and mid-density communities along the western and eastern channels.
• Waterfront promenades for leisurely walks, lined with hotels, parks, and community clubs.
• A village core providing community services and a sense of neighborhood, with amenities catering to both residents and tourists.

Island C: Oasis Island

Oasis Island is envisioned as a lush, green destination with amenities that appeal to diverse preferences, from wellness to sports.

• Four distinct resorts, catering to wellness, eco-tourism, family, and sports enthusiasts.
• A marina village core, providing access to a range of dining and shopping options.
• Extensive green landscapes and an integrated oasis environment that links different districts and resorts.

Island D: Sports Country Club

This island is tailored to sports and recreational activities, appealing to those with active lifestyles.

Its main features include:
