Dubai Islands Master Plan Overview

The Dubai Islands master plan, developed by Nakheel, redefines waterfront living across five interconnected islands, spanning 17 square kilometers.

In line with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, Dubai Islands offers a blend of residential, hospitality, and recreational spaces, designed to enhance daily life for residents and visitors alike. Each island will feature unique attractions, from cultural landmarks and upscale resorts to recreational beaches and wellness-centered facilities, positioning Dubai Islands as a vibrant destination for tourism and investment.

Located along Dubai’s northern coastline, Dubai Islands are well-connected by road and sea, offering easy access to Dubai’s key landmarks, including Dubai International Airport and Downtown Dubai. The master plan includes over 20 kilometres of beaches—some Blue Flag certified—two square kilometers of parks and green spaces, and golf courses overlooking the Arabian Gulf.

Over 80 resorts and hotels will be available, from luxury and eco-friendly stays to boutique and family accommodations, supporting Dubai’s ambitions to expand its tourism sector.With pathways, marinas, promenades, and a network for walking, biking, and water transport, Dubai Islands brings together urban amenities and natural spaces, enhancing Dubai’s status as a world-class destination.

Island A: Mixed-Use Island Core

This vibrant island is designed as a high-energy, mixed-use core, bringing together commercial, retail, entertainment, and residential spaces.

Island B: Integrated Resorts & Communities Island

This island serves as the portal to the larger resort and community areas, featuring both beachfront and mid-density residential options.
